Will the Wt Split?

based on the pressure that is building both within the rank and file and in the top management, i was wondering about the possibility of the wt fracturing into 2 groups: fundamentalist and liberal.

the gb has recently taken a back seat to 3 new corporations.

these were added to the multitude of corps they already have.

Any thing is possible.
I would sure hope they would fight among themselves and split but that's just my wish.
Maybe the GB made some big mistake by making all these different groups, I certainly hope so, these old farts have made some pretty big mistakes recently with the pedophile thing, I hope their on a role and make more really big flubs.

i can't find the words that would express how grateful i am for all the support, not only for all of you to back me on the dateline show but for my trial as well.

i don't think i would have had the courage to go through the trauma if it wasn't for all your prayers and encouragement.

dateline was a huge help for many and i know this because i have recieved quite a few calls, one from a current jdub who wants out for the safety of his 16 month old baby, i was so excited that he lifted the veil and saw it for the pure truth that it was.

Old Dumb Farts Running WT Will Keep Laying Eggs

dumb farts running wt will keep laying eggs.

these are modern times and the wt faces many more challenges than in the past.. will they meet these challenges or will the old stale farts that run the wt drive it into the ground?.

it has been true, and said many times that wisdom belongs to the aged but maybe this is a bit too general to be applied to every situation perhaps in many areas of life yes, but not every area.

Yeah I think recent events may even land some of the oldest dumb farts in the hospital.

I wounder if they can handle this pedophile thing any more dumber.
Imagine useing a cult financed professional to say a few bad word about people who leave the WT as defence to the media and R&F.

That is got to be as lame as it get folks!
I think retirement for the old idiots is in order.

Householders who have kids, afraid of JWs.

i think that since the airing of dateline on jw pedophiles, that many of the public will be fearful of the jw's and will absolutily tell their children to not talk or let the jws in their homes.. i see it playing out this way in field service over and over again:.

jdubs come to the yard of someone with kids,.. and right away the householder has all their children quickly go inside for fear they might be molested.. i think going out in field service will get harder and harder for the dubs because of all this very very bad publicity.. probably many pioneers will stop pioneering because of this.

and many dubs will secretly lose respect for the wt and the elder arrangement.

Boy you must really have your hand on the pulse of your territory.
How do you arrive at your conclusions? Why don't you go ask the people in your territory how they feel about it and report back with some concrete facts.

how would the wt public information explain their position on other crimes such as bank robbery, rape, or even murder?

would they present their position in the same way as child molestation?

if so here is an example for wt media to post with the proper changes.. .

well two little old ladies came knocking at my door, watchtowers in hand and their little sheets of paper.. well i asked them point blank if they had seen the show and one of them had and proudly told me that she had not only seen it but taped it.

i suggested that the other go to watch it and she said she would.. gutsy little ladies i love them.

Probably many pioneers will stop pioneering because of this. And many Dubs will secretly lose respect for the WT and the elder arrangement. They may play along for a while but will gradually see they are better off not always running to the elders but instead useing plan old common sense more.

The WT has suffered a very serious blow from Dateline, one that can't be judged by the first few days after but will take it toll for many monthes and years to come.

I think to brother's all siding with Belize durring the trial is deplorible!!

Some persons in authority had to be behind such stupidity, maybe the GB? (not thru a letter) but by word of mouth (passed on by the CO?).

I just can't see it any other way what person in their right mind, would side publicly durring a trial with a child molester? There had to be some encouragement from higher ups.

Any how think how this looks to the general public who saw Dateline? They must really feel the JW's are a bunch of mind zombies when they see this type of behavor.

iam pleased to report, my jw daughter called me this morning.. needless to say i was thrilled to hear from her.

as many of you know to well, it is a small blessing, but huge when it's coming from an active jw.. i have decided to leave off talking anything jw related, and just enjoy getting caught up on the latest in her life.. there is hope.. danny
